| es_PE |
dc.description.abstract | In order to determinate the use of fishing nylon in the biliary-enteric derivations, we studied 15 patients in whose we made choledochus-duodenum anastomosis (n=14) and hepatic-jejunum anastomosis Roux-en-Y loop (n=l). There were 8 women and 7 men, aged from 40 to 70 years; IO were operated electively with these diagnostics: Gallstone cronic cholecystitis plus choledocholithiasis; acute cholecystitis plus choledocholithiasis with and without cholangitis; biliary parasitosis and retained duct stones plus cholangitis.
In 5 patients we used traditional fishing nylon with traumatic needle and in 10 fishing nylon with atraumatic needle (WENCHY TM). In all of them the anastomosis were in a single level.
We didn't find any complication depending Of the material used in the anastomosis, there was not anastomotic evasion and the oral food intake was restored in approximately 4 days. The use of fishing nylon, traditional as the commercial (WENCHY TM ), determinated Iower cost compared to other commercial sutures. The use of atraumatic needle facilited that anastomosis construction, and it was most evident when there was an inflamatory process. | es_PE |
