Neoplasias en niños Hospital Nacional Edgardo Rebagliati Martins (1987-1989)

Abstract

En el Hospital Nacional Edgardo Rebagliati Martins, desde 1987, se atiende a los hijos de los asegurados menora de 14 años. Este es un estudio descriptivo (exploratorio) del cáncer en niños en el período (1987-1989) realizado en forma retrospectiva recopilando la información de los archivos del Departamento de Patología y de Estadística de egresos hospitalarios del HNERM/IPSS. (Hospital general). Para el trienio (87-89), encontramos 85 casos de neoplasias pediátricas, 44 niños y 41 niñas: en primer lugar, la leucemia con 32 casos; en segundo lugar, los linfomas, con 12 casos; en tercer lugar, tumores del sistema nervioso con 11 casos.

In the National Hospital Edgardo Rebagliati Martins, since 1987, there were attended the sons of the- insured less than 14 years old. This is a study (exploratory) of cancer in children in the period 1987—1989, realized on a retrospective form, compiling the information of the Pathology and Statistics of hospitables expenses Department files from NHERM/IPSS (general hospital). For the triennium '87—'89, it was found 85 cases of pediatric neoplasia, 44 boys and 41 girls: in first place, leucemia with 32 cases; on second place, linphome with 12 in third place, nerved system tumors with 11 cases.
