La ecocardiografía transtorácica y transesofágica revelaron insuficiencia mitral grave debido a un prolapso de P2, así como insuficiencia tricuspídea severa. El paciente fue sometido a tratamiento quirúrgico, que incluyó reparación de la válvula mitral y anuloplastia tricuspídea, realizadas mediante un abordaje totalmente endoscópico periareolar.
